Front End Web Developer

Job Description

Breakthrough Design Group is looking for a Front-End Web Developer on a contract basis with potential for hire, and long-term partnership.

Your primary responsibilities will be development-related; converting designs and layouts for professional websites, producing responsive HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript to implement these designs.  You will also help with Search Engine Optimization upgrades, and custom WordPress theme development.

Candidate must live his/her life for the human experience; love, authenticity, character, and truth.  Candidate must love people, see the value of a problem, and must have a desire to make something bigger, better out of their short time on this earth.

Requirements:

• Love for responsive, minimalist HTML5, CSS3, JS code

• WordPress Theme Development Experience

• Currently live, demonstrable sites

• Experience with Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator

• Experience in cross-browser compatibility in IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Including Tablets, Phones, etc.

• Google Pagespeed optimization (at least a baseline understanding of this, expert level not required)

Pluses:

• Deeper JavaScript, jQuery development

• Design experience (not required, but welcomed)

• Experience w/ PHP

Location:

• Anywhere in the US, preferably near the East Coast.
